Rivaldo: Bolton deal still on
Despite denying that he has been in contact with Bolton, Rivaldo admits that the thought of playing at the Reebok interests him and has already pinpointed Manchester as his potential new home.
The former Deportivo and Barcelona forward has also revealed that he has received tempting offers from Scottish champions Celtic, Greek outfit Olympiakos and unnamed clubs from Qatar and Japan.
"There is a chance (of playing for Bolton), as long as the club offer more money and match what I'm asking," Rivaldo told Agencia Estado.
"The club is good, the stadium is very nice and my challenge would be to take the club into Europe.
"If I reach an agreement with Bolton I will live in Manchester."
The Brazilian international vehemently denied that he sent a fax to Bolton chairman Phil Gartside, saying: "It is a lie. If they have the fax, they should show it to the press. The fax does not exist."
Rivaldo was adamant that he wants to return to Europe after a less than successful return to Brazilian football with Cruzeiro, but admitted that he has been contacted by clubs outside the continent.
"My intention is to play for two more seasons in Europe, but I am open to proposals from other places. I don't want to play in Brazil," he continued.
"I have offers from Celtic, a Spanish club, a Qatar club, Japan and Olympiakos from Greece.
"The proposal from Celtic is almost the same as Bolton's and I would have the chance to play Champions League football.
"I found out that the fans are excited about signing me and I am very proud of that."
"A director from the Qatar federation was here recently and made me an offer.
"Regarding Olympiakos, I spoke to Giovanni (his former team-mate at Barcelona) and he told me that the club is good. They are going to play in the Champions League and inaugurate a new stadium next season."
