Taylor stays a Seasider
Taylor has bagged 27 goals this season and is one of the most feared strikers in the lower leagues.
A number of clubs were looking to land him, but The Tangerines have now sealed his signature.
Chairman Karl Oyston confirmed the news, but also revealed that Sean Hessey, Phil Barnes, Tommy Jaszczun and Kirk Hilton have been told that they can leave.
"We are delighted to have taken up the option on Scott, I'm sure everyone will agree he had a great season," Oyston (pictured) told the club's website.
"We have decided against taking the options on the other four players, we have however, told them that if they don't get fixed up with another club, then they are welcome to join us for pre-season training and try and impress the new manager and earn a new contract."
