Twente delight with Culina deal
Twente have expressed delight at the signing of Jason Culina from Ajax.
Ajax informed the player earlier in the season that he would be allowed to move on, which prompted Twente to come in and offer a deal.
A deal was agreed earlier in the month and the formalities have now been concluded.
The 23-year-old Australian has signed a two-year contract and Twente clearly feel he has the potential to make the grade in Holland.
"We are happy that everything is complete," Twente technical director Johan Plageman told the club's website.
"Jason is a player who can be played in many positions.
"He is a welcome reinforcement for Twente."
