Edmilson eyes Lyon exit

The Brazilian international, who helped Lyon to their third successive Championnat title last weekend, wants to move on after three years at Lyon.

The World Cup winner hopes that Lyon will grant him his request to move on somewhere else.

"It is true I want to know something else. Now I have been playing at Lyon for three years and I feel it is the good moment for me to see something new," Edmilson told France Football.

"With Lyon, I knew a lot of beautiful things with three championship titles notably, but I also feel there isn't much to it.

"I hope and I think my chairman will understand my position and my willing to leave."

Edmilson's comments are sure to alert a number of top clubs to his availability and there is sure to be no shortage of suitors for his signature.
