Trial for Roma chief and Cafu
The trio, along with seven other people, must defend themselves against charges that false papers were used to secure EU passports for Cafu and Bartelt.
The pair no longer play for Roma, with Brazil's World Cup-winning captain Cafu now at scudetto winners Milan.
All ten people involved in the scandal must answer charges of using forged documents to enable both the players, and the club, to benefit from Cafu and Bartelt holding EU status.
Last January, Sensi, Cafu and Bartelt had been acquitted of the charges but an Italian judge has now decided to commit the case to trial.
The presiding judge has deemed the parties involved in the matter were aware of the irregularities in the documents, which enabled Cafu and Bartelt to claim EU passports.
The trial date has been fixed for November 8 later this year.
