Wadsworth wants Cort
Wadsworth has taken charge of the Portuguese outfit following his stint in charge of African nation Democratic Republic of Congo.
He is now preparing for next season in Portugal's top flight and has targeted Cort as a man he would love to have in his squad.
The 26-year-old left Newcastle in January to join Wolves for £2 million and had a decent end to the season, scoring five goals in 13 games.
Despite his form, Wolves were still relegated and Wadsworth is hoping that Cort will not want to play in Division One next term.
Wadsworth will have to do some smooth talking to get Cort to agree to move to Portugal, but he will be determined to get his man.
Beira Mar finished 11th in the league last season and have a new stadium, the Estadio Municipal de Aveiro, to play in after it was built for Euro 2004.
