King to replace Terry against Iceland

Tottenham defender Ledley King is in line to make his second start for England against Iceland this weekend after John Terry missed training again on Friday.

Chelsea defender Terry was unable to take part in training as he struggles with a tight hamstring which led to him being substituted in the closing stages of Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Japan.

Terry is expected to be fit for the start of Euro 2004 next weekend, but England coach Sven Goran Eriksson is unlikely to take any risks over his fitness against Iceland.

King, who scored on hid debut against Portugal in February, is expected to get the nod for England's final warm-up game against Iceland.

Better news on the injury front for Eriksson was the return of Sol Campbell and the Neville brothers, Phil and Gary, after they missed Thursday's session.

Campbell was resting his long-term groin problem, while Gary Neville was suffering from a sore hip and his brother Phil had a high temperature.
