Juve transfers stalled
Speculation in Italy suggests Madrid are ready to launch a shock bid for the Italian international - which could explain the player's reluctance to ink a deal with Juve.
Vieri stands to earn é¼16 million if he completes the remaining two years of his Internazionale contract - a move to Juve would net him just é¼14 million over a four-year period.
Another potential stumbling block is Internazionale's desire to take both Marco Di Vaio and Manuele Blasi in any deal involving Juve.
Meanwhile, the man Vieri is earmarked to replace, David Trezeguet, is also experiencing problems in his own move to Barcelona.
The talented Frenchman has agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants but Juve general manager Luciano Moggi has confirmed that the two clubs are wide apart in their valuations of the player.
''They offer é¼10 million - we want é¼20 million,'' confirmed Moggi.
''He already has an agreement with them but we will send him on our conditions. Otherwise, he stays here at the cost of going in the stand.''
