McIlroy lands Bridge-Wilkinson
The 25-year-old was offered a new deal by The Valiants at the season's end, but after talks with Hatters boss Sammy McIlroy, Bridge-Wilkinson has opted to move to Edgeley Park for next term.
He signed a two-year deal with his new club and becomes Stockport's third summer signing following the arrivals of Lee Mair from Dundee and Neil Cutler from Stoke City while striker Warren Feeney is due to arrive from Bournemouth.
McIlroy was pleased to bring the former Derby County player at the club.
"I've watched Bridge-Wilkinson for a while now. He's a player with great ability with a real eye for goal and he will be a great asset to Stockport County," McIlroy told the club's official website.
"As I've said before the new players, with the nucleus of the squad we already had, will enable us to have a real go next season."
