Danny agrees terms with Leeds
The Bradford City man underwent a medical at The Whites' Thorp Arch training ground on Tuesday and is now awaiting the results before the deal can be completed.
Cadamarteri is eager to link-up with Leeds and sees the club as an excellent chance to return to Premiership football.
"This is a massive opportunity for myself," explained Cadamarteri to the Bradford's official website.
"I am joining a big club who will be challenging to get back into the Premiership straight away."
Bantams' manager Colin Todd was keen to retain the former Everton striker, but admits his hands were tied.
"Danny is one I wanted to keep but my hands are tied," said Todd.
"Taking this job I have to accept certain conditions and if it is going to be to the benefit of the football club then everybody is happy."
