Anigo desperate to keep Drogba
Premiership big-spenders Chelsea have repeatedly been linked with a summer swoop for Ivory Coast international Drogba.
The Blues are purported to have had a bid rejected for the prolific front man while the club's chief executive Peter Kenyon recently confirmed their interest in Drogba.
But l'OM are reluctant to even contemplate cashing in on the African, who enjoyed a superb last season both in Ligue 1 and in Europe.
Anigo has now followed up previous comments from Marseille's powerbrokers by insisting Drogba will not be leaving Stade Velodrome.
"At this club, no-one has ever wanted to let him leave," affirmed Anigo.
The Marseille chief also stated that he does not want to bring ageing defender Desailly back to the South Coast of France.
According to l'OM sporting director Pape Diouf, Desailly is eager to leave Chelsea and rejoin Marseille after fearing his time at Stamford Bridge is at an end following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as coach.
Diouf says the club are considering whether they could afford Desailly's wage demands but Anigo is not interested in signing the 35-year-old.
Anigo did confirm, though, that Marseille are hoping to bring Desailly's fellow veteran France team-mate Bixente Lizarazu to Stade Velodrome.
"Marcel has a good club - Chelsea - and he doesn't need l'OM," added Anigo. "His arrival has never been topical.
"About Lizarazu, indeed there are contacts with him but he also has contact with a lot of clubs and nothing has been guaranteed."
