Cafu dreams of Pele record
Brazilian defender Cafu has declared that his last ambition in football is to emulate Pele and lift the World Cup on three separate occasions.
The talented Milan right back has appeared in three World Cup finals and been victorious twice, lifting the trophy in 1994 and 2002.
Cafu now believes he can equal Pele's record of three successes, with the veteran master having won the competition in 1958, 1962 and 1970.
''Maybe I have the chance to beat Pele,'' declared Cafu to Terra Esportes TV.
''I have already played in three World Cup finals and won two titles.
''I hope to have the chance to play in 2006 and win my third World Cup.''
