Udinese stand by Czech star's price
Udinese are determined not to lower their valuation of Czech Republic midfielder Marek Jankulovski, meaning he could well stay at the club next season.
The talented Czech starred for his country in Euro 2004 in Portugal and his form attracted a host of interest.
Juventus have been front runners up to now, but their offer of ‚é¼4 million is nowhere near Udinese's valuation of around ‚é¼10 million.
Internazionale and English side Tottenham Hotspur have also been interested, but a maximum offer of ‚é¼5 million is still only half what Udinese want for Jankulovski.
Udinese chief Giampaolo Pozzo has said that the club's sound financial situation means they are not desperate to sell, and will not let him go for less than ‚é¼10 million.
It is now not out of the question that Jankulovski could remain in Udine next term, if nobody tables an offer approaching the club's pricetag.
