Vuoso leaves City
The striker has been a massive disappointment since his £3.5 million move from Independiente two years ago.
He only managed to figure in the reserves for Kevin Keegan and he spent time on loan at Santos Laguna last term.
Vuoso was always unlikely to return to Manchester and City have confirmed that he has completed a permanent move to Santos Laguna.
The club are unlikely to recoup anywhere near the cash they splashed out on him, but Keegan is keen to clear any dead wood out of his squad.
With the likes of Michael Tarnat, Danny Tiatto and Gerard Wiekens all departing Eastlands, Keegan is shaping his squad for the coming campaign.
The former England manager does have his hands tied in regards to bringing in new players, as he is desperately short of cash, and will be trying to wheel and deal to strengthen the squad.
