Gradi: Brammer Stoke bound
The former Port Vale midfielder, who is out of contract at Gresty Road, had yet to commit his future to the Gresty Road outfit, despite Gradi's efforts to open talks with the player.
Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Rotherham United have all been linked with the 29-year-old, but it looks like The Potters have won the chase to sign Brammer.
Gradi conceded defeat in keeping the midfielder after meeting with Brammer at the Cheshire club's training ground on Wednesday.
"Dave spoke to me before training this morning and told me that he had an offer from Stoke and he was just waiting for written confirmation," Gradi told the club's official website.
"He said that he was going to accept their offer and I expect him to sign for them shortly."
Despite the impending departure of Brammer to The Britannia Stadium, The Railwaymen continue to look forward to the future by taking two trialists to their first pre-season match at Conference North club Stafford Rangers on Thursday evening.
George Smee and Adesioye Sullivan are part of a 15-man squad that will travel to Marston Road, as they look to impress Gradi.
