Carvalho: Porto to decide my future
Euro 2004 star Ricardo Carvalho has stated he is keen broaden his horizons, but it is down to Porto whether he switches clubs.
Spanish giants Real Madrid are firm suitors of the Portugal star, who greatly impressed after replacing Fernando Couto this summer.
Carvalho was considered one of the stars of Euro 2004 alongside Jorge Andrade, leading to Real tabling an offer for the international stopper.
"I know that there are clubs interested, but the last word is down to Porto," explained Carvalho.
The bid from El Santiago Bernabeu was deemed insufficient and rejected, meaning Carvalho will have to wait to see whether he is to depart from the European club champions.
