Greek ace has England options

EXCLUSIVE
Euro 2004 hero Theo Zagorakis could be set for a return to The Premiership with Tottenham, Everton and Bolton all keen to acquire his services.

The Greece star, who was named player of the European Championship in Portugal this summer, is also attracting interest in Italy and Spain.

Should Zagorakis, formerly of Leicester City, opt to reject overtures from Bologna and Atletico Madrid he could take up a lucrative offer from Qatar.

The AEK Athens star will now spend the coming days mulling over his future before announcing where he will be playing his football this season.

"We have many offers from different countries which is natural because he is the player of the Euro 2004," explained agent Kimon Kokorogiannis to Skysports.com.

"From England, Tottenham, Everton and Bolton. The Trotters are awaiting his answer for the last two weeks.

"From Italy, Bologna. From Spain, Atletico Madrid. Even from Qatar we have an offer, ‚é¼6 million for a two-year contract, along with many other offers from European clubs.

"Theo is looking for the best team and the best offer. He will make a very careful choice. He believes that he can play well at all the teams.

"Now he can't sign anything. No pre-contracts or contracts, nothing at all because he is still player of AEK.

"We will have news about his decision next week, maybe on Tuesday."
