Boston unveil stadium plans
The new ground has been earmarked for the Broadsides area of the town, where Boston currently reside, with a capacity of 7,500 planned.
As part of the £7.5 million proposal, a car park, function room, computer learning centre and hotel are also to be erected.
The club's current stadium, York Street, will be sold off for residential developments and a proposed ground share with neighbours Boston Town has been mooted.
However, Town chairman Jon Sotnick admits he is yet to reach an agreement with the club's non-league neighbours.
''I believe the proposal will be beneficial for both Boston United and Boston Town, and I think they would actually come out of it as a stronger club,'' confirmed Sotnick.
''We would welcome them to York Street with open arms while the stadia are being built.
''This stadium is critical for the future of Boston United. At the moment we are missing out on our second largest source of income because we don't have any corporate boxes at York Street.''
