Cahill relishing Millwall stay

Millwall star Tim Cahill has insisted that he has no problem playing in The Championship with his club, after a move to Premiership Crystal Palace fell through last week.

The Australia international was the driving force behind Millwall's run to the FA Cup final last year and has attracted interest from several clubs.

Crystal Palace's £2 million move for the player collapsed last week, but Aston Villa and Everton are rumoured to be waiting in the wings.

Should a dream move to the top-flight not materialise, Cahill insists that he is relishing another season with The Lions.

"I just want to get on with playing football for Millwall," insisted Cahill. "There is a lot to look forward to.

"Playing in the Uefa Cup is unheard of at this club and it really spurs me on."
