Kinsella set for Leeds trial
The 31-year-old, formerly of Charlton Athletic, is currently looking for a new club after being released by West Brom at the end of last season.
Kinsella began his career with Colchester United in 1986 going on to make 180 appearances for the side before playing for Charlton and Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Blackwell is keen to iron out the futures of trialist trio Brian Deane, Steve Guppy and Craig Hignett, who all played on The Whites' tour of Sweden.
The former Sheffield United coach is wary that his squad cannot afford injuries and is keen to increase the number of options available to him.
"I haven't got a big squad at the moment," said Blackwell to the club's official website.
"We can't carry many injuries at the moment, so we need recruits and we will see what we can do with regards to those three."
Leeds are believed to have offered Deane a one-year deal to rejoin the club, a switch that the striker was always keen on making.
"I had quite a few other offers but coming back to Leeds was always the best option," explained Deane.
Former Leicester City pair Guppy and Hignett boast a wealth of Premiership experience and could also pen deals with the Yorkshire club.
