Albertini confirms Atalanta move
Veteran midfielder Demetrio Albertini has admitted that he is almost certain to join Serie A new boys Atalanta.
The Lazio ace is looking for a new club due to Lazio's ongoing financial difficulties
The 32-year-old has agreed a deal to move to Bergamo and is set to put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal in the next few days.
"It is 99.9 percent completed, we are just waiting for a fax from Lazio," said the former Italian international.
"I'm fascinated by the Bergamo club and I'm really looking forward to working with so many youngsters.
"Atalanta are a serious club with clear ideas. I'm as excited as a 20-year-old because the responsibility of playing for the side makes me feel important."
