Everton seal Cahill deal

Millwall's highly rated midfielder Tim Cahill is poised to join Premiership outfit Everton after agreeing terms with Toffees boss David Moyes.

A deal will be concluded within the next 24 hours - with the Championship club having reluctantly agreed to release Cahill for a £2 million fee.

The talented goalscoring midfielder has been one of the most sought after talents outside of The Premiership in the past few seasons and is now to be handed an opportunity on Merseyside.

It is thought Cahill will sign a four-year deal, which will provide some relief to the under-fire club.

Cahill had been on the cusp of a move to Crystal Palace earlier this summer but the deal broke down when Eagles chairman Simon Jordan refused to pay agent fees.

Whilst Cahill arrives at Goodison Park, Tomasz Radzinski is on his way out after confirming he is undergoing a medical with Fulham - with a fee of £1.75 million agreed.

Meanwhile, Moyes will continue to monitor the form of Sturm Graz defender Eddy Bosnar.

The 24-year-old stopper is available on a free transfer but Moyes has yet to commit to a deal, contrary to speculation.
