Larsson relishing Barca debut

Henrik Larsson is relishing the prospect of playing for Barcelona after linking up with his new team-mates for pre-season training.

The Sweden striker is heading on tour to Asia with the Catalan club where he will make his debut for the Azulgrana following his free transfer move from Celtic.

After an impressive Euro 2004, the experienced hit-man is determined to prove he can score regularly in La Liga after enduring unfair criticism during his Parkhead days due to the perceived poor standard of the Scottish Premier League.

"I am nervous at this time but it is a nice feeling," Larsson told Helsingborgs Dagblad.

"I am tremendously keen to start.

"It is always like that when you are set to start something new."
