Worthington eyeing new faces

Norwich boss Nigel Worthington has revealed he will look to supplement the capture of Thomas Helveg with a couple of other signings before the season starts.

Danish international Helveg signed a two-year deal on Thursday and although delighted with the capture, Worthington feels he needs more arrivals at Carrow Road in order to compete in The Premiership.

"There are other players that we are working on," Worthington told Sky Sports News.

"If things were to go well, possibly by the start of the season there might be another two or three players to join us.

"Again, though, it is patience. It takes time for these things to be resolved and I just hope we can get the players that we want."

Worthington is still trying to bring in Linvoy Primus from Portsmouth despite Pompey chief Harry Redknapp saying he was unlikely to move.

"We're still trying to nail that one down," added Worthington.
