Camara pleads for Wolves move

EXCLUSIVE
Unsettled Wolves striker Henri Camara has revealed to skysports.com his disappointment at the club's decision to fine him and their refusal to let him leave.

Camara, who returned to training on Monday, was hit with a hefty fine for his self-imposed exile as he seeks to win a move away from Molineux.

The former Sedan ace fears his international ambitions will be harmed if he is not playing in a top league next season and wants to move to safeguard his place in the Senegal side.

Bolton have had two bids rejected for the skilful forward while Celtic have made an enquiry to take him on loan for a season for a fee.

West Brom have also expressed an interest in the player, but Camara insists he would not join Wolves' arch-rivals.

Camara has now moved to put the record straight on why he wants to leave and revealed he would be keen on a move to Bolton or a loan switch to Celtic.

"I cannot understand why the club have fined me and why they have knocked back two offers for me," Camara told skysports.com.

"I told the club two-and-a-half months ago I wanted to be playing in The Premiership.

"I feel I need to be playing at the highest level as it will mean that the Senegalese international selectors will see me more.

"I would be willing to go to either Bolton or Celtic as at Celtic I could play in the Champions League.

"If I could go out on loan then I would happily come back to Wolves if they were back in the Premier League.

"I have no wish to play for West Brom.

"I plead with Sir Jack Hayward, Dave Jones and Jez Moxey to allow me to leave.

"If Wolves were still playing in the Premier League I would be happy to stay.

"I want people to know my situation. It is nothing against Wolves.

"I love the club and the fans. It is just I need to be playing in a top league for recognition from the international selectors and to fulfil my ambition of becoming African Player of the Year.

"I cannot do this if I am playing in the English First Division.

"It is nothing financial it is just I feel I need to be playing in the top competitions."
