Wiltord in Marseille talks
Wiltord is looking for a new club after leaving Arsenal when his contract expired earlier this summer.
The 30-year-old has attracted the interest of a host of clubs including Juventus, Werder Bremen and Tottenham.
Wiltord has been training with Rennes as he bids to keep fit and he could now start the season with Marseille.
Reports emanating from France claim that Wiltord is currently in talks with Marseille general manager Pape Diouf about a switch to Stade Velodrome.
Marseille are in the market for a new striker having sold last season's top scorer Didier Drogba to Chelsea and with Wiltord available on a free transfer he could be a valuable addition to the squad.
