Betsy in Pools trial

Hartlepool United have handed a trial to Barnsley striker Kevin Betsy.

Pool boss Neale Cooper has been looking for a new target-man all summer and he now hopes Betsy will be the answer.

"He is a player we have liked for a while now," said Cooper.

"We are having a look at him and if he does OK, I'm hopeful it will lead to something further.''

Betsy, who joined Barnsley from Fulham, has been told to find a new club by boss Paul Hart.
