Di Natale attracting interest

According to reports emanating from Italy, Empoli forward Antonio Di Natale is being pursued by a series of Serie A clubs.

The talented striker is keen to return to Italy's top flight and is reported to be a target for Bologna, Brescia, Palermo and Parma.

Empoli general director Giuseppe Vitale admits that the club are ready to allow the player to move - if the price is right.

''Between the sides interested in signing him, Palermo seems to be the one with the best economical possibilities,'' Vitale told Guerin Sportivo.

''But we don't close the door to foreign clubs and Bologna, Brescia and Parma are also interested.

''The price will depend on the officials we face in negotiation.''

Di Natale has previously been linked to Manchester City but has since indicated an inclination to stay in his homeland.
