Samp to bag Rossini

Sampdoria have reached an agreement with Atalanta for the services of Fausto Rossini.

The 26-year-old, who will come in on loan, is expected to link-up with the Blucerchiati in the coming days in order to train with his new team-mates.

Rossini last term spent term with Bologna, however, his spell was curtailed after sustaining a serious injury with the side.

The striker returned to Atalanta this summer but was not part of Andrea Mandorlini's plans and has been weighing up his options.

Sampdoria were keen to bolster their strike force to give the side options should either Fabio Bazzani or Francesco Flachi lose form or be ruled out with injury.
