Bogarde trains at Ajax

Former Chelsea defender Winston Bogarde is training with his old club Ajax.

Bogarde left Stamford Bridge at the end of last season after four years with The Blues, during which time he made just 12 appearances.

The 33-year-old was seen only once competitively in the past three years and is now bidding to resurrect his career back in Holland.

PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord have both previously been linked with a move for the versatile stopper.

In a bid to keep his fitness up, Bogarde is now back in Amsterdam and is training with Ajax's youth team.

It is uncertain if he will be offered a deal by the Dutch champions but he is at least making it known he is keen to relaunch his career after his miserable spell in West London.
