Leyton Orient striker Wayne Purser has joined big spending non-league outfit Hornchurch. The Urchins are looking to make a major impact this season as they attempt to achieve promotion to The Conference.
Orient have now accepted a bid of £15,000 for former Barnet front-man Purser.
"Wayne's not been happy with being kept on the bench since the end of last season," said Orient manager Martin Ling.
"He's been in the 16 but he wants to be a centre-forward and he wants to be starting games.
"He was behind some good players here and Hornchurch's offer was a good one so he's going there and we wish him all the best for the future.
"I was more than happy to keep him here and have him fight for a place in the side but this money will allow me to go and get a replacement in the near future."
Hornchurch have already bolstered their squad substantially this summer by signing a host of big lower league names including Darren Caskey, Jean Michel Sigere, Danny Shipp, Paul McCarthy and Kirk Jackson.
