Tresor Lomano Lua Lua has admitted that he is not fit enough to play.
Tresor Lomano Lua Lua has admitted that he has been kidding himself about his fitness, and that he needs a break.The former Newcastle man joined Portsmouth this summer from Newcastle, but has looked a shadow of the player that shined on loan at the club last season.
Lua Lua believes that he should have rested earlier after picking up a groin strain - and feels he has let the team down.
"It has all become too much," said the Congo international.
"I can't shoot, stop or turn and my game is all about explosive running, which I can't do either.
"I said I was fit but I was not helping myself because I knew I wasn't.
"I feel I have let myself and the team down."
Lua Lua could now be missing for Pompey when they take on Fulham on Monday.
