Norway striker Flo retires
Tore Andre Flo has retired from international football.
Norwegian striker Tore Andre Flo has retired from international football at the age of 31.
The former Chelsea and Rangers marksman has decided to quit ahead of Norway's 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Flo, who now plays for Serie A side Siena, will be replaced by Besiktas striker John Carew.
Carew was left out of the Norway squad that earned a 2-2 with Belgium in August.
Norway last appeared in the World Cup finals in France in 1998, and start their 2006 qualifying campain against Italy on September 4.
