Dundee produced a stunning comeback to pinch a 4-4 draw at Hibernian.

The visitors appeared dead and buried when Hibs roared in to a 4-1 advantage but The Dark Blues battled back to snare an injury time equaliser at Easter Road.

John Sutton had given the visitors the lead on seven minutes but that merely stung Hibs in to life with Dean Shiels levelling on 23 minutes.

Derek Riordan (pictured) scored before the break and when Garry O'Connor netted twice inside the opening five minutes of the second half it looked all over.

But Hibs reckoned without the resilience of the visitors who pulled one back through Garry Brady on 65 minutes.

Glenn Larsen further reduced the deficit on 79 minutes and the comeback was complete when Jonay Hernandez scored in the final minute.

Hearts suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down 2-0 at Motherwell.

Kevin McBride's penalty broke the deadlock on 59 minutes and Phil O'Donnell wrapped up the points midway through the second half.

Aberdeen maintained their fine start to the SPL season as they scored twice in the second half to overcome Livingston at Pittodrie.

Steven Craig scored on 65 and 68 minutes, the first a penalty, to ensure The Dons remain unbeaten.

Dundee United picked up their first three points of the campaign as they came from behind to see off Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Tannadice.

Barry Wilson's penalty on the hour mark put the visitors ahead but goals from Chris Innes and Jim McIntyre earned The Terrors the spoils.
