The draw for the first round of the LDV Vans Trophy was made on Saturday.

The draw for the first round of the LDV Vans Trophy was made on Saturday morning.

Helen Chamberlain and Tim Lovejoy of Sky Sports' Soccer AM show made the draw for this season's cup competition for clubs in Leagues One and Two, as well as the Nationwide Conference.

In the Northern section, League One club Bradford City have been drawn at home to Conference side Accrington Stanley while Morecambe will pay a visit to Huddersfield Town.

Stockport County and Bury have been drawn in a local derby at Edgeley Park while holders Blackpool face a trip to York City in round one.

The Southern section sees an Essex derby between Colchester United and last year's finalists Southend United while Torquay United host Yeovil Town in a West Country clash at Plainmoor.

Conference club Aldershot Town host Wycombe Wanderers while Woking will play League Two side Leyton Orient at home.

Exeter City will travel to The Kassam Stadium to face Graham Rix's Oxford United.

Northampton Town, Oldham Athletic, Swindon Town and Tranmere Rovers have all received byes to the second round.

The first round ties will be played the week commencing September 27th.
