Christian Panucci is angry that he has been left out of the Italy squad.
Christian Panucci is angry that he has been left out of the Italy squad for next month's World Cup qualifiers.The Roma defender was left out Marcello Lippi's squad for the games with Norway and Moldova.
Reports suggest Lippi left out Panucci because of problems between the pair when they were at Internazionale together.
Panucci admitted he was considering his international future after being left out of Lippi's plans which he feels is because of a personal vendetta.
"You can see from a mile away that this is a personal choice," Panucci told Sky Italia. "I just hope that Lippi has the honesty to admit it.
"Nevertheless, I've played for the national side on more than 50 occasions and I certainly won't have any sleepless nights about it."
