The Catalan club have moved for the winger and right-sided defender to bolster their squad ahead of the transfer deadline.

Following a creditable draw with Deportivo La Coruna in their opening Liga fixture, the Montjuic outfit are keen to increase their options.

Amavisca has signed a one-year deal after his contract with Depor ran out, while Minambres also arrives for a season after joining on loan from Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old is a former Spain international and will add plenty of experience to the Espanyol ranks.
