Roma have completed their move for Egyptian striker Mido.
Roma have completed their move for Egyptian striker Mido, while Philippe Mexes has also been given the all-clear to start the season with the club.Mido has penned a five-year deal at Stadio Olimpico after completing a move from French side Marseille.
The news comes just hours after Rudi Voller was unveiled as Roma's new boss and it is another boost for the Giallorossi faithful.
The 21-year-old marksman never really settled into life in the South of France, and had always fancied a move to Italy.
A further boost to Roma came as Fifa confirmed that Philippe Mexes would be eligible to play in competitive matches for the Italians.
Roma are still battling with his former side Auxerre over the fee that should be paid for Mexes, but this will not affect him starting the season.
Fifa are looking to encourage the two clubs to sit down and thrash out a deal for Mexes, but the Italians will just be relieved he can start the season.
