PSV hit by Bogelund injury

PSV Eindhoven's Kasper Bogelund has picked up an injury.

PSV Eindhoven's Kasper Bogelund has picked up an injury that will keep him out for over a month.

Bogelund limped out Denmark's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine, and has been told he could face a six-week lay-off.

The injury comes at a critical time for PSV who face important matches both domestically and in Europe.

The 23-year-old could well be out of action for the club's UEFA Champions League matches against Arsenal and Panathinaikos.

"It's the right hamstring that I have hurt," explained Bogelund to BT.

"I know the type of injury and it is normally over a month before I can play again."

The Danish international will be working hard for a speedy return, but PSV fans will be cursing the timing of the player's injury.
