Solari confirms Utd interest

Santiago Solari admits he was flattered by Manchester United's summer interest but he is keen to stay at Real Madrid.United enquired about Solari's availability during the summer but were met with a firm rebuttal by Real.
The Argentine winger is out of contract next year and rumours persist that The Red Devils will revive their interest in the New Year.
But the consistent wide man is hoping to clinch an extension at El Santiago Bernabeu, despite acknowledging the interest from the Premiership titans.
"I never see myself outside this club," commented Solari.
"A true interest did exist and it was a possibility.
"A year in football is an eternity and many things can happen. Nothing can ever be said with certainty, nor about where you are going to be.
"I am contracted to this team until June 30 2005 and I don't imagine myself in another team in the future, even though I know I could be transferred."
Solari has never fully established himself as a permanent fixture in the Real team throughout his four years with the Primera Liga giants.
But he is convinced new Real coach Jose Antonio Camacho plans to utilise his services on a regular basis this term.
He added: "I am under the consideration of the coach and the board members of Real Madrid and the ten minutes I played against Wisla (Krakow) make me think that I am going to have many chances to play during this season.
"The previous years I have played many times, there is no memory of a year when I did not participate too much.
"This will be my fifth season in Real Madrid and I am very happy at this club."
