The news comes as a further bitter blow to Bielefeld coach Uwe Rapolder ahead of Saturday's trip to Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga new boys already have striker Isaac Boakye (knee) and Albanian playmaker Fatmir Vata (thigh) on the injury list and will now be forced to tackle Bayern with just two fit forwards, Marco Kuntzel and Marijo Maric, in the squad.
