Rothen misses Monaco clash
PSG's Jerome Rothen is expected to miss the match against his former club Monaco.
Paris Saint Germain's play-maker Jerome Rothen is expected to miss this weekend's match against his former club Monaco.
Rothen, who was one of the stars of Monaco's UEFA Champions League run last season, moved to Parc des Princes in the summer.
Monaco coach Didier Deschamps was keen to hold onto the player. However, Rothen was determined to clinch a move to the capital.
The left-sided player is struggling with a groin injury and did not train on Friday.
Meanwhile, full-back Bernard Mendy is a further injury concern for PSG. The French team player is still suffering with a leg injury he picked up in pre-season, and also failed to train on Friday.
A late decision is expected on his fitness.
