Holland squad announced

Marco van Basten has named his Holland squad to tackle Macedonia and Finland.

Holland coach Marco van Basten has named his squad that will tackle Macedonia and Finland in upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The Oranje have made a positive start to Group 2, on the road to Germany 2006, following their opening victory over Czech Republic.

Van Basten has included no less than five Ajax stars, who unfortunately were sent packing the UEFA Champions League in midweek after being humbled by Bayern Munich.

Chelsea forward Arjen Robben has been named in the 21-man squad, but with the 20-year-old yet to kick a football for The Blues this term may not be used in the qualifiers.

Roy Makaay and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who netted in Europe this week, are in fine form and should feature for van Basten against Macedonia and Finland.

Meanwhile, van Basten has been forced to make a late change to his squad with PSV's Edwin Zoetebier earning a call-up at the expense of the injured Maarten Stekelenburg.
