Ajax to move for Koller

Ajax are set to make a move for Jan Koller in Germany, according to Dutch sources.

Voetbal international - the most respected football magazine in Holland - has reported that the Czech Republic international is the man Ajax have made their priority following the sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ajax had looked to land Roda's Arouna Kone, but that deal fell through just as the transfer window closed.

Koller is now the man Ajax have highlighted, although his wages could prove problematic as he earns ‚é¼2.5 million at Borussia Dortmund.

Ajax have also highlighted other options with Maciej Zurawski of Wisla Krakow and Hamlstads' Markus Rosenberg also under consideration, should they fail to land Koller.
