Dortmund eye Degen

Rumours have escalated that Borussia Dortmund have agreed a deal for Phillip Degen.

It has been well documented that the 21-year-old star has been at the top of BVB's shopping list for some time.

Degen is thought to be travelling to Germany later this week to complete the signing at the Westfalenstadion.

Rumour has it that Dortmund would like to have him in their squad after the winter break but Degen is believed to want to finish this season in Switzerland.

However, SI has reported that Degen has sought assurances from Dortmund's management team with respect to the club's financial situation.
