Wenger's Quincy patience

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hailed the progress of Dutch teenager Quincy Owusu-Abeyie.The 18-year-old made a stunning impact in The Gunners' Carling Cup victory over Everton on Tuesday, scoring just five minutes after coming on as a first half substitute.
Owusu-Abeyie also had a hand in his team's other two goals, as Arsenal set up a quarter final showdown with arch-rivals Manchester United.
The striking starlet was one of a batch of youngsters to have been handed another chance to impress Wenger in the Carling Cup this season.
Wenger was drooling over the promise of his team and singled out Owusu-Abeyie for a special mention due to his recent progress.
"You expect youngsters to play with enthusiasm, but not necessarily with such quality," said Wenger.
"What it has proved is many of these players could come into the first team. They could play against Spurs, though they will not because I still have great faith in the other players.
"Many people had questions about Quincy in the past, but he has become very direct now.
"When a boy has such talent, you have to be patient. He has matured and grown up."
Wenger concedes the only problem he has with the teenager is being able to pronounce his surname.
He joked: "I wish we could use Quincy on his shirt, but they won't let us. I don't know how to pronounce his name. I've tried, but I can't do it."
The French tactician is likely to retain his trust in the youngsters for the quarter finals, despite the fact The Red Devils will be the opposition.
"I think it would be criminal to change the team for the quarter finals. They deserve to play again."
