Dons sign Rizzo

MK Dons have signed Australian winger Nick Rizzo.

The 25-year-old has gone straight into The Dons' squad to face Luton Town on Saturday after signing for the League One side.

The Australian started out his career at Liverpool before moving on to Crystal Palace in 1998, and then switching to Italy.

Spells at Lecce and Prato followed before Rizzo looked to return to English football, undergoing a trial at Barnsley in September.

This failed to lead to a move to The Tykes but he has now sealed his comeback by penning a deal for Milton Keynes.
