Betis to offload Tote

Real Betis are ready to listen to offers for out-of-favour striker Tote.

The former Real Madrid hit-man joined Los Verdiblancos last season but was troubled by a series of niggling injuries and struggled to produce his best form, managing only two goals.

He has found opportunities under new coach Lorenzo Serra Ferrer virtually non-existent and recently admitted he would consider a move in the January transfer window.

On Tuesday his agents met with Betis directors to ascertain his future, and were informed the club are ready to listen to offers for him.

It now seems certain that the 25-year-old will move on in January, although an initial loan deal looks most likely.
