Inter reject Peruzzi link
Internazionale have rejected reports linking the club with a move for Angelo Peruzzi.
Internazionale president Giacinto Facchetti has rejected reports linking the club with a move for Lazio goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi.Reports have suggested Inter were planning a move for their former keeper when the transfer window re-opens in January.
However, Facchetti insists there is no truth in the rumours and that they are happy with under-fire custodian Francesco Toldo.
"It's not true. They are only groundless rumours. Toldo is really good for us," said Facchetti.
Meanwhile, Inter are also being linked with a move for Benfica defender Luisao.
Inter are thought to be keen on bolstering their defence and have made Luisao their top target.
Roberto Mancini is reported to have contacted Benfica coach Giovanni Trapattoni to enquire about the Brazilian and they could possibly offer a few players in exchange to try and strike a deal with the Lisbon club.
