Ettien inks new Levante deal

Felix Ettien has signed a new two-year contract with high-flying Levante.

The Ivory Coast star has been one of the key factors behind the Valencia-based outfit's excellent start to the Primera campaign.

The 25-year-old's current deal was due to expire at the end of the season, but he is now tied to the club until June 2007.

Under the terms of his new contract his release fee has been set at ‚é¼12 million.

The deal will come as welcome news to Levante as the powerful Ettien has put in a string of impressive displays on the right hand side of midfield this term.

The African star joined Levante some eight years ago as a teenager and has become an integral member of Bernd Schuster's side.
